Hydrophilic Fumed Silica

There are various grades of hydrophilic fumed silica, which are defined by their amorphous structure. It is used to provide thixotropic properties in coatings and adhesives. It also assists in enhancing flow in the production industry, such as cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Hydrophobic Fumed Silica

Hydrophobic fumed silica is a form of silicon dioxide (commonly known as silica) that has hydrophobic groups chemically bonded to the surface. It’s treated silica or structure-modified silica. HIFULL hydrophobic fumed silica is structure modified silica after being treated by HMDS, PDMS, DDS.

Fumed Aluminium Oxide

HIFULL ALuna-Series is a fine-particulate, fumed aluminum oxide (AL2O3 ) powder with a high specific surface area. The positive surface charge of fumed alumina enables it can be used in many applications with special properties and functions.

Fumed Titanium Dioxide

HIFULL NT-Series is fumed titanium dioxide (TiO2) prepared by the pyrolysis process. It has ultra-fine particle size, high purity, high specific surface area, and a unique combination of anatase and rutile mixed crystal structure. This product is applied in the field of catalysis and photocatalysis, it can also be used as an effective UV filter.

Pyrohydrolysi & Trichloromethylsilane

Fumed silica is synthesized by the pyrohydrolysis of silicon tetrachloride or trichloromethylsilane in the flame of hydrogen and oxygen. Our main raw material is silicon tetrachloride, and the secondary is trichloromethylsilane.

When fumed silica is used as filler or additives, it helps in thickening, reinforcement, transparency, free-flow, thixotropic performance, dielectric properties, anti-settling, heat insulation, and anti-sagging. For example, for powder products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-caking agent; for liquid products, HIFULL fumed silica is used as an anti-settling agent or suspending agent.
